To empty your mailbox on an Android phone, you can either delete all of the messages at once or delete them one at a time. To delete all of the messages, open your mailbox and tap the menu button. Then, tap Delete all and confirm your choice. To delete messages one at a time, open your mailbox and swipe left on the message you want to delete. Then, tap Delete.
If your voicemail box is full, you will not be able to delete any messages. You will need to delete some old messages in order to make room for new ones.
There are a few reasons your Android might say voicemail is full. One possibility is that you’ve reached your voicemail’s storage limit; most providers offer a certain amount of storage space for voicemails, and if you’ve filled that up, you’ll start seeing this error. Another possibility is that there’s a problem with your voicemail service – for example, if you’re trying to access your voicemail from outside the US, you might see this error.
To turn off your voicemail, dial *86 and press send. This will disable your voicemail and you will no longer receive any messages.
